Stuck inside

Well, we have had an eventful week.  We had Aunt Dot's funeral, my Mom had a full knee replacement and I spent 2 nights in the hospital with her, and then Jackson had to go to the hospital last night.  You already know about Aunt Dot.  My Mom is on the mend...but to say it was a tough weekend is an understatement.  She is not out of the woods and has a lot of physical therapy coming up, but she is a fighter and will be just fine!  Jackson has had a fever since Monday (103.6), Tuesday it was 104.5 and Bailey had a 100.5 so I just scheduled them both a Dr. appt.  Test all came back negative and they said it was just a fever bug.  Well...at 4am that night he came in our room having hallucinations and asked to get in bed with us.  John lifted him up and immediately he felt how HOT he was.  We took his temp and it was 106.2!!!  So we quickly got him in the tub and then off to the hospital.  He got more test, a shot of antibiotic, and an IV.  All test were negative and came to the same conclusion as Dr, but to be sure we are taking him to the Dr again in the morning on the advice of the hospital.
His introduction to Angry Birds-thanks to Mimi who knows just how to calm him down and make him feel better!  When he got home he told me he "had a Popsicle and it was blue", that he was "very nice and said hello to the Dr." and that he "got to play angry birds!!"  LOL

Poor John, it was a LONG night for everyone, including Mimi and Diddy. Really, we can't say thank you enough to everyone who said prayers, called, texted, and offered up help!

Meanwhile we have spent the last 3 days indoors...and having some fun in between fever peeks :)  Here is our first attempt at a fort-and no before John says this is a lame attempt at one-he was not involved in the construction ;)

We now make a fort ALL the time :)  They love it!!

Oh, and have I ever mentioned how CRAZY Bailey is about hiding and being sneaky???!!?!  She will hide and not utter a SINGLE WORD or even make a sound!  She freaks us out sometimes.  She hides behind doors, in the complete darkness of closets, you name it...she is crazy!! LOLOL  Here is a few pics of me catching her in her hiding places today...

Is that not the cutest little girl ever?!?!?!  Love my babes!
