Destin 2011

Jackson's favorite game to play in the ocean :)

John and I had a date night in one of the neatest towns we had ever seen. It was where they filmed the movie The Truman Show and it was only about 5 miles from where we stayed.

For some reason Jackson has a new obsession..."el-ba-bators"!!

We also visited the Airforce Armament Museum in Eglin Airforce base. (This is John's favorite plane~The Blackbird)

We also went on an AWESOME daulphin cruise!

Jackson actually got to steer the boat~seriously...the Captin actually let the kids steer!! He was in hog heaven!

This was hilarious! We rented bikes for a few days b/c they had some amazing trails everywhere and the kids both fell asleep with there hats over their heads...two peas in a pod!

We got to see Aunt Rosemary and Uncle Dick too!

This was our view off the deck...I know...BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

We took Jackson to The Track and in order for him to ride go-carts & bumper boats he had to be 3 ft tall....he just made it! We just thought he looked like such a big kid~so cute!

Jackson riding with Dad in the go-cart and you can see Opa taking a picture in the backgroud!

Bailey's first night on the beach :)

We had a wonderful time in Destin with Opa and Nana. We stayed in Uncle Michael's (Maureen's brother) beautiful condo which was right on the beach!! The kids stayed in the same room for the first time and did great (besides waking up a little early and going in & waking Opa and Nana up at 6:30am one time!!! **they never really got on the central time zone!) We were so blessed to have such a big and nice place to stay with a georgeous view and 2 pools too! They had the best bike trails and Grayton Beach State park was only a bike ride away!

Bailey has had a big week besides it being her first trip to the beach! She now has 4 teeth~she got her top two teeth while we were there. She is also CRAWLING! Jackson didn't crawl until about 10 months...so this is very new to me! She has been getting up on all fours for a long time now, but I still can't believe it! She also says, "baaa baaa baaa" all the time now :)

Looks like such a fun trip! I love the picture of Jackson with the sunset in the background. Looks like it came right out of a magazine!
