Cousins Visit

Dan was out of town, so Amy brought the kids to stay with us for 2 nights.  We had the best time of course! We went to Lego Land, The Yellow River Game Ranch, the pool, and the playground.  We are always so sad to see them go and our time flies by too quickly!

Summer Fun

Since July started I really have no idea what day it is.  We are not on a schedule and so we just do whatever we feel like and I wake up and don't even know what day it is! 

4th of July

We had an awesome 4th of July in our new neighborhood.  They have a parade and pool party.  Did I mention how much I love living here?!?!

 It took a good 2 hours to decorate their bikes, but it paid off...Bailey won best bike :) She was super excited (even if her brother was a bit sad b/c he basically had the same decorations!)

Jackson also won an award for the "cutest" in the biggest splash competition.  Bless his heart, he got right up their and did his version of a dive instead of a cannon ball like every other child. Love him.

 We also went to Uncle Stephens pool last week to visit him.  The kids loved it and so did I.  Bailey even started swimming while we were there! 

Fathers Day, Kunkels, Tubing, American Girl, and Night swimming

These are from Fathers Day.  John took the kids on a nature walk in our new creek behind our back yard.  They had a great time!

 We had the Kunkels spent the night while Courtney and Matt went to Vegas, we all had a great time!

 We went tubing with Dan, Amy, and the kids.  We had a awesome time! 

 We went to the American Girl Cafe for Payton's birthday. The kids loved it! 

 In our new neighborhood we can bike or walk to our new pool.  So we have done a lot of night swimming with Dad when he gets home from work.  I LOVE where we live now and have had a great summer :)

Gulf Shores 2014

We had a blast as always at Gulf Shores with the Ballard Family this year.  It was the best yet as far as relaxing post-kids for John and I.  It was a whole lot easier with them being 5 1/2 and 3 1/2.  No napping made it sooo much easier too.  But, as you can see from the picture below, we definitely wore them out!
