I was Avery's BEST friend that whole weekend, it was so much fun!!

I can't believe we only have one more month to go until he is a year old! Here are a couple of things he is doing now...he gets into EVERYTHING!, he will stand up for a sec. by himself, he drinks so good out of a sippy cup, he can climb up our entire set of stairs (with me right with him),and he knows which button to push to start his toys. He likes to "play games" like he slaps the table then you do...or he shakes his head and then you do. He was playing this game with Mimi and Diddy the other day :) He is eating more "real" finger foods and so far he likes broccoli, carrots, pancakes, mini penne pasta, mac and cheese, bananas, peaches, gold fish, bread, and his very favorite is blueberries!

Helmet update

We had a scan done today on Jackson's head. The Orthodist said that there was very little growth~actually 0.004 to be exact~and that he has already made most of the progress at the point. She told us that he should only wear it for naps and bedtime for 4 weeks. After 4 weeks we go in for an appointment and she said more than likely will stop wearing it all together! John and I are very happy with the improvements we have seen and he already did better than they expected he would.

We had such a great time in Avalon, NJ! Jackson did so good on the plane. He really didn't sleep much on the way there or back, but he was a good boy :) I love getting to see all my family~we usually are lucky to see them maybe 1 time a year or so. This was Jackson's first time meeting most of them and he just loved it! We kept him out late many nights and he was such a sweet boy! He had a blast playing with all my aunts, cousins, and friends! He especially LOVED playing with Eric, who is 5 years old. He entertained him all the time and just really seemed to have a special bond with him :) We hope we get to go again next year and can't wait to see everyone at Christmas!!
