Jackson is playing his first team sport-soccer...and I am his coach (I know, how did I get talked into that one?). John has been helping to assist me, but he has never played before so he mainly just does what I say :) ha! Jackson did pretty good for his first time ever, I mean, he has never even seen a game before...ever. And our team only had one practice before the game. BUT, I am not one of those Mama's who just brags about their child when there is nothing to brag about...lol. Bless his heart, the boy just can't focus. He was more worried about playing on the playground and watching to see if the ball went out of bounds, instead of running after it. He was super cute with all of his facial reactions...he has about a million. He looked like he was ready for battle every play!
We also had a LOT of family at this game. Amy, Dan, and the kids...Mimi and Diddy, Em and Anderson, Grandma and Grandpa, and Uncle Bud and Aunt Meghan. So he did GREAT in my eyes that he even went out on the fields and didn't get shy. Two years ago that same boy probably wouldn't have even stepped foot on the field, let alone try to play in front of all those people. And for that I am super proud!
