Learning

We have been really working on Jackson's writing. It is amazing to watch him learn and see his progress. It's also hard to teach, I even had to google how to teach a child to hold a pencil! Ha! It almost made it better because he watched the video with me and I think he said to himself "ahhhhhhhh so Mom is not crazy and I really am supposed to hold it like that!" I never put that much thought into how it comes so natural to write and to express into words how to write each letter. He has been doing so good we even treated them to Yogli Mogli tonight.

The Davis Cup

I was shocked to see this in our church bulletin. They didn't tell me ahead of time, so I saw it when I got in in the mail. I was so honored and it just made my heart melt. I absolutely love Due West United Methodist Church with all my heart. We especially love all our friends we have made who have shown me how to get involved in the church. It can be stressful at times, but it is more rewarding than I ever imagined.

Headlights

When we got the minivan the headlights were all foggy and yucky looking.  Nothing would get them clean.  Well, I saw on Pinterest to use toothpaste to clean it and I finally tried the other night...and it WORKED!  It didn't come completely off, but it was a HUGE improvement!  I was amazed, and so was John (and it's pretty hard to amaze John! LOL)  These pictures really don't do it justice b/c I was in the garage and it was at night, but I was too excited and had to finish! LOL  It took probably 20 min at the most :)

Timmy the Turtle and more

Mrs. Moskal sent Timmy home with us for the weekend and we had a lot of fun with him.  Except for Saturday when Jackson was a complete terror and too tired.  






We took him to the Kunkel's Falcon's party and he was our good luck charm b/c we actually won this year!!

Of course, he had to show Timmy how to play angry birds :)

Along with saying goodnight outside to the moon with Daddy, he also has them help make his coffee for the next morning :)

Our friends from Sunday School had a reception last weekend and it was so fun!This is some of our Sunday School class :)

I am not going to go over any resolutions this year.  I am just going to be thankful for where we are right at this moment.  Who knows what 2013 has in store for us, but I just pray we will continue to be happy and healthy.  Here are some pictures I finally downloaded from my iphone from 2012....

Bailey getting her haircut for the first time!!!This is how long it was after 2 years and 3 months :)  I didn't cut much, in fact you probably wouldn't even be able to tell, but it was looking kinda rough, so now its all shaped up!
