We went to Memphis last weekend and we already miss Nana and Opa so much! On Friday it was almost 80 outside, but very windy...you can see them laughing about the wind in the picture above!
What a difference 1 1/2 years will make! These were both taken in the exact same swing. The one below is when she was only a month old :)
Bailey did pretty good for the first time swimming with her float on. She actually even did it by herself for the last 10 min. or so while we were at Nana & Opa's indoor pool. **By the way, if you don't have one...those are the best floaties EVER made...really they are just awesome. She is still a little to small for it, but seemed to get the hang of it!
Getting marshmellow treats!
Jackson was Bailey and Opa's cheerleader saying, "GOOO Bailey and Opa!!" Hahaha
We were trying to decide what to do on Saturday when all of the sudden Jackson chimed in with, "I want to go to the museum!!!" He remembered it from last summer when we took him! He even remembered all that he played with at the museum and so that's what we did!
John ordered a rocket to be delivered to my Dad's and Jackson is obsessed with it...he wants to play with it allllll the time. Thankfully it is something he can do on his own and we can just watch :)
Of course he was also infatuated with Nana's angels that she has all around the house. Here is a picture of him kissing them goodbye before we left :)
We even stopped over in Birmingham to take a look at Uncle Bud and Meghan's new place! John and I secretly envied their youth a little (ya know, small apartment...no yard to worry about...no kids...go out to eat anytime you want ;) Those kind of things :) But, then we remember how great it feels to be settled and the love we have for being parents together to the best kids ever :)
