We had so much fun this weekend! My Dad and Maureen drove from Memphis...then my Aunt Jeanne and my cousins Jackie, Laura, and Britt came all the way from Philly to visit Jackson for the first time. It was my Dad's birthday weekend too :) It felt so great to have such a full house!! We walked up Kennesaw Mountain and had a great time just hanging out! Jackson was such a good boy the whole weekend. We were all sad to see them leave! Can't wait until he meets the rest of the family this summer at the Jersey shore!!

and still sitting!! Jessi came over with Liam on Thursday and I guess Jackson saw that Liam could sit just fine (and crawl!) and so he decided he would do it too! We actually caught him doing it for the first time all by himself on camera. The whole time I kept saying to Jessi,"he's still sitting!!" He falls every few min. or so still...but it's a great start!!

6 Month check-up

Stats:

Height: 28 inches (90th %tile)

Weight: 17 lbs 4.8oz (50th %ile)

Head: 17 3/4 inches (85th %ile)

So as the Dr. put it..."he is tall, slender, and really smart!" hahahaha! As you can see things are going great! Here are some of the new things he has been doing over the past 2 months...holding his chest up when on his belly, rolled over from his belly to his back, he reaches for EVERYTHING, puts his feet in his mouth constantly, laughs really easily, sleeps though the night!!, he is eating his solids at breakfast/lunch/dinner, he has liked everything we have given him to taste :) He still has a thing about some men...they just make him cry?!?! It is so random and you never know who will do it to him :)

We had such a wonderful/busy Easter weekend :) We missed seeing my family,but I am sure we will see them next Easter!

We went over and hung out with Jamie and Hope yesterday and had so much fun! Jackson was be a little cranky so we went on a walk and he fell right asleep. I think they are only two weeks apart and it took us 6 months to finally get together!! We can't wait to do it again soon :) Oh, and sad to say I did not have my camera with me and was not familiar with this one...so unfortunately the pics are blurry :(

6 month photo shoot

I took these on his 6 month birthday :) I tried to get some with clothes on...but he was not having it! He kept eating his feet & rolling over. Not to mention peeing on the blanket a million times! hahaha We do not go to the doctor until Tuesday so I will update you then on things like weight and what new things he has been doing :)
