Grandma's Birthday Weekend!

My Mom couldn't wait until Easter to give this to him :) It has the cutest song that plays (we all had it in our heads the entire weekend!)

It was my Mom's birthday Saturday, so we went over there to spend the weekend. We had a wonderful time. John was fishing with his buddies the whole weekend and missed out on the celebration. Thankfully Jackson slept really well and just loved being there, as you can see from the pictures :) He even rolled over once for my mom and me ;) Dextr was so wonderful and carried him around for me all weekend long. We both want to thank them for such an awesome time!

6 month's later...

This was us almost exactly 6 months ago to the day!! ugh...I was so huge! hahaha

These are two friends of mine that I met in college. We all lived in the same dorm together and had a blast. We lost touch for a little while and just reconnected when we were both about to pop! Cindy lives very close to me and we go walking at least once a week together. It has been so wonderful hanging out with her & Carson...we have so much in common. We both are stay at home moms, we were both laid off from our last jobs, we are stay at home moms, we live in Dallas, our sons are 6 days apart, we both have tight families...what more could you ask for! We got to go have lunch with Sandy in Buckhead (obviously you can tell they are twins) and we had so much fun!! Great to see how much has changed in just 6 months!

This past weekend we went to visit our good friends Blake and April in Warner Robins, GA. It's about a 2 1/2 hour drive from our house. We had a lot of fun and Jackson seemed to really enjoy himself!

St. Patrick's Day

You can obviously tell we had a fun St. Patrick's Day! We just did our usual thing...naps, eat, sleep, poop, and go on a walk :) But, I love our routine...we have so much fun!

We had such a great time this weekend. On Friday night Jackson and I had a great dinner with my mom at California Pizza (sadly no pictures taken) & even did some shopping at Target. Then Saturday my Dad and Maureen drove from Memphis to visit & we went to church and dinner at Longhorn. On Sunday we all had a yummy lunch at Baldino's for my brother Stephen's 30th birthday~gosh we are getting old!! Then we popped in to see John's parents after that! We definitely had a busy and fun family weekend! Jackson loved every min. of it!

I actually went to the Dr.'s to have him weighed this month, even though there is no check-up until 6 months. This month has been interesting to say the least! Long story short he is now 1/2 on formula and 1/2 breastfeeding. He was just not gaining enough weight and my supply was running low~so we did what we thought was best & what the Dr suggested. He seems to be back on track now thankfully. He tried peas for the first time the other day and LOVED them~ John and I think they are so yucky!! He loves to play with his feet all the time and I will post a picture when I can remember to take one :)
